We Live Again
Past Life Therapist
My name is Brenda Harwood and the purpose for this website is to bring together like-minded people who have experienced spontaneous recall or far-memory. I myself had this experience in 1978 when I was twenty-nine years old. At the time I was just living a normal life as a housewife in Blackpool, Lancashire with my husband Neville.
It all started when I was watching a TV drama based on the life of the Elizabethan poet and playwright William Shakespeare entitled “Will Shakespeare”. From that experience I have written two books My Truth and the current book I Live Again, which was published in 2017.
This experience has made a huge impact on my life, which changed from that day on. There are many people out there I am sure who have experienced what I have and like myself have changed their lives too. Some probably find it hard to cope at times, talk about it or learn to live with the memory of who they were.
It can take over your life if it is not kept under control. There are those like myself who can ‘click into’ the character of the person they were; thus bring forth their mannerisms, characteristics, speech and so on.
Leading on from my experiences I decided to do a course in Past Life therapy. I completed the course and received my diploma from the Past Life Therapists Association in 2009. Other qualification is a Reiki Master diploma, which I received in 2008.
All correspondence will be kept in the strictest confidence.
I would like to build up a group of people who could in time share their experiences with others of like-mind.
I offer therapy to help and assist them to help them to come to terms with the issues they are experiencing, and I only want genuine people – no time-wasters please as this hinders those genuine people who are in need of help.
Love and light
Has anything like this happened to you?
This is a much more rare phenomenon, where there is total recall of a complete past life, just there in the conscious memory. This can be due to a soul who has reincarnated with a specific purpose – perhaps to put the record straight about their history. Most often it is only the one past life that is remembered, and all the others that the soul has had remain hidden in the subconscious for therapists to uncover. Those who experience this can also have spontaneous recall.
Past life memories can surface all on their own in the form of flashbacks or perhaps a fairly intense daydream. The feelings you experience are similar to déjà vu (French term meaning ‘already seen’).
Children especially have spontaneous recall and may suddenly come out with a phrase like, “I was just thinking about my other family, the one before this”.
It is an overwhelming sense of familiarity with something that shouldn't be familiar at all. When it occurs, it seems to spark our memory of a place we have already been, a person we have already seen, or an act we have already done. However another thing that can happen is ‘triggered recall’.
Perhaps you visit an area for the first time and it all seems so familiar. Maybe you have found yourself in a strange town yet you can accurately predict what will be around the next corner.
Often a particular noise can trigger off a past life feeling, like for instance, the sound of an old fashioned aeroplane flying overhead or rain forest sounds.
Another common example is when you meet someone for the first time, yet it feels as if you have known them all your life.
In this instance people get feelings or ‘vibes’, whether good or bad from the individuals they encounter.
If any of these issues are something that you are experiencing or have experienced in the past, don’t hesitate to contact me on the Forum page of this website.
My second book "I Live Again"
This book was published in March 2017 and outlines what happened to Christopher Marlowe after his supposed death in Deptford 1593. He was the Elizabethan poet, playwright and spy for Queen Elizabeth I.
He led a colourful life and was involved in spying for the queen, especially on those who plotted against her. Those who were hell bent on deposing the queen and placing a Catholic on the throne.
It was through Thomas Walsingham his patron and lover along with other members in the spy network who was able to create a ‘dead man’s switch’. Doing this made it possible for Christopher Marlowe to go into exile on the Continent.
Owing to his close liaison with William Shakespeare and their collaboration on the plays meant Marlowe’s work would continue to be published and acted on the stage in the London theatres. This was made possible by William Shakespeare accepting the work and putting his name to it. William was wrote the comedies as Marlowe was the serious playwright, writing only the histories and tragedies.
All of this is explained in his account of what truly happened when he was spirited abroad for his own safety.
Extracts taken from the book
Prepare for exile
May1593, upon my arrival in the early hours of the morning I found Thomas waiting for me at the old retainer’s cottage on the estate. He looked as if he had not slept a wink, his hair uncombed and his clothes unkempt. He embraced me and said that he couldn’t stay as it would be unwise.
He went on to say: “Christopher you must stay out of sight, for no one must see you or ever know you are here. There are only those who can be trusted who will be privy to that information and who will be permitted to visit you. All has been made ready for your stay; the cottage has become overgrown so it is well hidden from prying eyes. Robyn Poley has been instructed to arrange the necessary papers, which you will need for a safe passage to and from the Low Countries. You will also receive instructions of a safe house where you can stay and possibly work until instructed otherwise. For the moment you are to live here in this cottage.”
Plays penned for William
“You are looking more your old self this morning, for when I saw you last night you gave me cause for concern. Not happy with the tiredness around your eyes though.”
With a smile I replied: “I’ve been working into the night on the plays for William.” Robyn came over and sat upon the bed.
“Kit, please don’t work too hard. William is capable enough to put a play together as well you know.”
“Did you know Robyn that he is claiming he wants a larger cut of the profits from the plays, the ones that I hath penned?”
Robyn was first to speak.
“Kit the information you gave to me on my last visit proved welI, so I thank you for this.”
“I suppose you want to know if there is to be any more illegal books and pamphlets being smuggled back to England. I have heard that there will be another illegal shipment at the end of next month, about the twenty seventh. It’s to be Polzeath in Cornwall.”
“We may need you in Italy but all the arrangements have to be made yet.”
This pleased me for it is a country I could settle for a while even though my heart will forever be in England. Thomas promised me that I would not die in a strange land.
“Don’t think me ungrateful for these are good people and I have grown fond of them over my stay here. I am sure there will be other exiles needing their help.”
“I know you feel stifled here as there is nothing to inspire your writing, but I need to place you where there are no enemy agents who may recognise you. Here there are those whom I can trust, so you could walk abroad without fear.”
Questioning of the sonnets
“Christopher you refused to have your supper, are you feeling ill?”
“No, Thomas I must speak with you regarding the sonnets.”
Thomas intervened, “I thought the matter was closed.”
I then spoke firmly, “I noticed that she’s had been replaced with he’s in them, why is this? They were meant only for a male and should have been left so.”
“It was too late to do anything about it Christopher. So I thought it best to leave it; thus not drawing too much attention for it had caused quite a stir as it was.”
I got up from my chair and walked over to the fireplace. I leaned against it then took a deep breath.
“So let me get this straight in my mind. William altered my work without ever giving a thought to have consulted you on the matter or me?”
“You were not here and the reason I didn’t tell you is because I knew how you would react. I am truly sorry this has happened on top of everything else.”
“As a Past Life Therapist, I understand the phenomenon of Far Memory; the author lives with this every day. When this occurs, the memories and character of an individual’s past life remains in full conscious awareness, we have many previous lifetimes but just one remains dominant. The fine detail of this former life comes from the subconscious and the important thing to remember is that this part of the mind is incapable of lying, fabricating or making things up. Therefore, all the facts stated in this book have to be true. Quite often, past life recall can turn the accepted version of history upside down and this work is no exception, the fine detail is incredible. Christopher Marlowe can finally reveal the truth and put the record straight.”

What is past life regression?
People come for a past life regression therapy session for four main reasons, they are:
Our character today represents a culmination of all the experiences we have had over numerous lifetimes. These past life events affect many aspects of our behaviour, and in some cases, past deeply emotional traumas can cause psychological problems which cannot be cured with ordinary psychotherapy. Past life therapy can release these repressed thoughts and bring about a beneficial change.
Exploring your past lives offers a whole new dimension to the understanding of your own character. You suddenly realise for the first time why you are drawn to certain places or have a particular interest in something.
Many enjoy the experience of tracing their past lives purely from the point of curiosity. Certain past existences in particular can be pieced together with great detail, producing names, dates and places. Many of these details have been researched and authenticated, resulting in some fascinating literature on the subject.
Quite often, groups of interacting souls reincarnate together and take on the roles of relations, friends or even rivals. Many believe this happens to balance the laws of karma – the harmony or disharmony caused by peoples behaviour towards each other. Have you ever met someone for the first time, yet feel you have known them all your life?
Finding familiar people
“As soon as I met him, something felt so familiar, as if I had known him all my life.”
This is the third main reason why people want past life regression. To see if they have shared a life with someone who is important to them in this life. This is quite a common occurrence within practice and invariably gets a result. If a person gets a strong feeling about another in their presence, regardless of the fact that they hardly know them, then something is going on. We are more susceptible to ‘vibes’ than we realise. First impressions can speak volumes.
What are past lives?
There has been many possible explanations put forward as to what past life experiences may be, and you are free to choose which ever theory feels comfortable with your beliefs.
The belief that we return to this world several times so that we can experience and evolve. This is the only concept that helps me to explain all the experiences I have had to deal with during many hours of regression therapy.
A theory suggesting that our memories are passed on from one generation to another through cell structure or DNA. However this can’t explain why most people regress back to many different cultural backgrounds.
Are we suggesting making it all up? I get asked this sometimes. There has been many cases documented through historical research, which can prove the accuracy of the information, far beyond the chances of random imagination.
The idea that people can access the memory of another soul, through the Akashic Records. These are the spiritual records of everything that has ever happened in this Universe and all those outside of this Universe. This can be acceptable to some, but it doesn’t account for the continuity of character traits which seem to pass from one life to another.
Regardless of personal beliefs, past life regression can work for everyone, so the important thing is to accept it and enjoy the benefits that it brings.
